Ingredients needed –
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups almond
- 2 cups cashew
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 cups walnuts ( make sure to taste before mixing with everything as walnuts can go rancid quickly )
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup hemp seeds
- 2 cups raisins
- Flavoring per choice eg Nutmeg, Cinnamon, etc
Instructions –
- Roast everything except raisins in oven at 350 degree F, keep an eye on each thing as each nut and seed has different roasting time, do not let it burn
- Completely cool down all the nuts and then chop them with knife (big or small per your preference)
- No need to chop seeds
- No need to chop oats
- Finally, mix everything in a bowl and then add raisins and flavoring of your choice
- Store in airtight jar and if you made a large batch, you can store in freezer, can last few months in freezer and can be stored at room temperature for few weeks.
- Can always make more or less per your needs
Avoid anything that you are allergic to, and can increase the amount of other nut or seed if needed.
